Sarah Anderson, "Circle of Friends"

Sarah Anderson's solo monotype show was a huge success and big crowd pleaser! Here Sarah, in black, stands in New Grounds and speaks with friends.

On display in the New Grounds classroom is art by New Grounds' members as well as international artists.

New intern Carla Neilsen was all smiles while greeting guests at the door.

Sarah Anderson stands next to her work. The bottom image to her right had been missing before the reception. Gallery Assistant Tanya Landin searched New Grounds high and low looking for it. Turns out the piece had been in Sarah's car the whole time!

First Friday, August 2013

First Friday at New Grounds was a success! Many people came by to see the show and artist Pamela Wesolek demonstrated one of the many different printmaking techniques.

Photo Gravure Show and Demo,

Standing in the entrance to the New Grounds gallery is the majority of the female staff.

From left to right, Gallery Assistant Tanya, new intern Shaina, Director Regina Held, New intern Dakota, and myself, intern Kaitlin Reese.

Guests stand and admire photogravures made by New Grounds artists. Along side the framed final pieces are original photos, transparencies, individual proofs, and exposed photo polymer plates that illustrate the many steps that are nessisary to complete the work of art.

Adabel Allen's New Show "Transitations"

At New Grounds and Matrix Fine Art we celebrated the openings of both Adabel Allen and Laura Wacha's new Solo shows Transitations and Likely Stories.
